Attorney Maas received his J.D. from Golden Gate University in 1997. He

Carol Long is an experienced, tenacious attorney who has dedicated her
career to fighting for her clients accused of crime for almost 17 years.
Ms. Long is well-known and respected for her diligence and heart inside
and outside the courtroom. She brings commitment, compassion and determination
in her representation of all her clients.
Ms. Long began her career in Tulare and Stanislaus County Superior Courts,
and has fought for justice for her clients in Solano County for the last
ten years. Ms. Long joined the Maas Law Offices in 2010 and continues
to earn the respect of her peers and her clients.
Ms. Long received her J.D. from the University of California – Hastings
College of Law in 1996, and is a member of the State Bar of California.
Stacy Barrett is an experienced, aggressive and earnest criminal defense
attorney. She began working in the field twelve years ago assisting a
San Francisco Deputy Public Defender on a death-penalty murder case while
still a student at the University of California – Hastings
College of the Law where she earned a Blum Foundation Scholarship for
After graduation, Ms. Barrett began practicing criminal defense in Napa
Superior Court where she developed a reputation as a compassionate but
fierce and hardworking advocate for her clients at all stages of the criminal
process. She has argued and won numerous bench trials, jury trials and
motion hearings. She loves being a criminal defense attorney and is particularly
interested in the intersection of law, media and technology.
Ms. Barrett received her J.D. from U.C. – Hastings College of Law
in 2005. She is a member of the State Bar of California, California Attorneys
for Criminal Justice, and the California Public Defenders Association.
She is proud to have been selected by the Napa City Council to be a member
of the Library Commission, the Library's policy advisory board. She
also volunteers for the Hydrocephalus Association, a national organization
dedicated to helping families and individuals whose lives have been touched
by hydrocephalus as well as the professionals who are dedicated to creating
a bright future through medical excellence and research.
